Frequently Asked Questions
How can I find out what my student is currently working on in class?
The two best ways to keep updated on what your student is studying or working on is to check your student's ITS Learning Dashboard. While PowerSchool will also provide important information on your student's progress, it won't reflect assignments are not yet due or have not yet been graded.
How do I sign up for Parent Access to PowerSchool?
It is strongly recommended that you sign up for access to PowerSchool. To sign up, bring a government-issued photo ID to the main office and the school information specialist will help you set up your account. If you are unable to sign up for a Parent Access account, contact your student's homeroom teacher to make alternate arrangements.
How do I access my student's ITS Learning Dashboard?
Note: Please do not post as your student--their dashboard is a safe digital space for them to collaborate, discuss, and learn freely with peers, and posting as them would impact that negatively. If you have a question about an assignment, grade, etc. please email that content area teacher directly!
OK, I'm on my student's Dashboard but...what does everything mean? I don't know how to navigate--help!

What if my student needs extra help? What can they do?
During regular school:
Help sessions are offered by appointment (2 days advance notice by email from parents required) after school Tuesday & Thursday. Students should be picked up by 4 pm unless other arrangements are made. Ms. Lamberth is also available by email or a quick phone call to assist with "quick fix" issues. See your classroom syllabus for more details.
During e-learning: Students will have a tutorial period from 2:25-3:00 PM Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. During this time, teachers will be available for individual support by request. A Google Form will be provided in ITS Learning for students to complete to request to participate and/or parents can email Ms. Lamberth to request for their students to participate. Participation is not mandatory.
If your student is struggling in multiple classes, a team conference is likely in order to help identify areas for improvement and behavior patterns that may be impacting academics, etc. Please contact your student's homeroom teacher/team contact to schedule
